Getting more followers on Twitter

Some of the tools I use to get more followers to my twitter

 

1. Tweetlater

3. Twitter karma

I am going to begin with a few reasons that you may want to add some tools to your twitter. First and probably the most important is Tweetlater. It can automate certain tweets and post them at specific times like when you’re at work or the beach. Sounds good doesn’t it.  It also gives you more time to concentrate on finding great content to send to your followers.

 

First let me get back to Tweetlater. It is probably the tool that is doing the most for me at the moment. I have mine set to send tweets at times that I am sleeping or working because I figured if I am home I can send original tweets about what I am doing. I am currently working with Twitter Traffic Machine and trying to get some business drummed up. A lot if the information I have has been gleaned from Bill Crosby and The Twitter Traffic Machine Program he has created. Its pretty easy to set up too. The next thing I want to talk about is Twello. Created by @PaulKinlan, @Twollo is a unique service to help you find the people that are interesting for you! Twello lets you search for conversations that are talking about keywords that you pick. If your interests are in scrapbooking you can do a search for people talking about scrapbooking and automatically follow them. And generally if you follow someone they will follow you back which is what you want if you are trying to grow your following. I found Twitter Karma and thought how Zen. I get karma but don’t really rely on it for anything. It is what it is but this jewel will help you manage the followers that you have and also get rid of people that don’t follow you back. Twitter has rules about followers and following so it makes sense to manage your followers.

I also us the Tweetdeck which I have open now while I am writing this. It gives you live updates and lets you know when things get posted. It also lets you post and favorite things as well as keep track of certain users if you have need. I have mine set to listen for tweets from SBKLive a local radio personality that I enjoy. When he posts an update my Tweetdeck makes a little sound and I can click over to it and instantly know what SBK said.

Twitterfeed is a great way to give your followers good quality content because face it no one wants to be constantly bombarded with Tweets about buy this all the time. There are many ways to keep your followers up to date with current trends or breaking news or anything really.  Be creative it may just give you an edge that no one has thought of.  Be original and sincere and you will get followers.
